SCHOOL OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, USM ACHIEVES 5-STAR RATING IN MyRA PTJ 2025

Pulau Pinang, 2 April 2026 – The School of Biological Sciences (PPSKH), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), has achieved a significant milestone after being awarded a 5-Star rating in the Malaysian Research Assessment (MyRA) PTJ 2025.

This accomplishment reflects the continuous commitment of PPSKH members in strengthening a culture of high-quality research, impactful innovation, and academic excellence.

In conjunction with this achievement, PPSKH has also been awarded a Research Leadership Facilitation Grant amounting to RM20,000, in recognition of its outstanding performance in MyRA 2025. The grant is expected to further support and enhance the school’s research agenda and academic leadership.
