PROFESSOR DR. SHAHRUL ANUAR MOHD SAH AND PROFESSOR DR. SREERAMANAN SUBRAMANIAM APPOINTED TO THE UNIVERSITI SAINS MALAYSIA SENATE FOR THE 2026 – 2029 TERM

PENANG, 6 August 2026 – School of Biological Sciences (SBS), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), extends its heartfelt congratulations to Professor Dr. Shahrul Anuar Mohd Sah and Professor Dr. Sreeramanan Subramaniam on their appointments as Members of the Universiti Sains Malaysia Senate for the 2026–2029 term.

Professor Dr. Shahrul Anuar Mohd Sah has been appointed as a Senate Member representing the School, while Professor Dr. Sreeramanan Subramaniam has been appointed as a Senate Member representing the Centre of Excellence/Institute.

These appointments reflect the University's confidence in their distinguished academic leadership, professional integrity and longstanding contributions to teaching, research, innovation and institutional development. Both professors have consistently demonstrated excellence in their respective fields and have played significant roles in advancing the School's academic standing and research impact.

School of Biological Sciences congratulates both professors on this well-deserved recognition and wishes them every success in carrying out their responsibilities with distinction.
