Research background
My expertise lies in marine fish taxonomy, with a research focus on the Sciaenidae family (croakers) and Southeast Asian ichthyofauna. Mine have contributed to the discovery and description of new species, including Johnius sasakii, and is actively involved in morphological and molecular phylogenetic studies to understand fish biodiversity and evolutionary relationships.
Research focus
Marine fish taxonomy (sciaenidae), molecular phylogeny & evolutionary, spatiotemporal marine fishes
