Research background

My research focuses on parasite-host interactions, vector-borne infections, and the molecular characterization of parasites, especially in urban and rural environments. I am particularly interested in the public health risks posed by zoonotic parasites from rodents, livestock, and wildlife. My recent work includes projects on malaria prevention, rodent-borne diseases, and sea turtle parasite infection and its conservation. Through my research, I aim to improve biodiversity conservation and develop strategies to prevent future outbreaks of infectious diseases.

Research focus
Parasitology, molecular biology, and zoonotic diseases.
