Research background

His first research interest is strawberry plant tissue culture. It was extended during his MSc and PhD for diploid strawberry cv 5AF7 as a model for Rosaceae functional genomics. He expands his interest in "Coffee arabica" cv. Kahwa coffee & "Eurycoma longifolia" also known as "Tongkat Ali". He also developed an LED panel array to manipulate the photomorphogenesis in the mentioned plants.
