Dr. Zarul Hazrin Hashim

My research focuses on the ecology and conservation of fish species in both freshwater and marine ecosystems, with an emphasis on addressing key environmental challenges such as climate change, invasive alien species, and biodiversity protection across Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah, Sarawak. My expertise spans fish ecology and stock assessment, fisheries management, biodiversity and ecosystem analysis, environmental data analysis, and the ecological impacts of climate change.
