The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), proudly congratulates Dr. Dahlia Binti Shahbuddin and Associate Professor Dr. Asyraf Bin Mansor on their success in securing research grants under the Exploratory Research Grant Scheme Phase 2/2026, awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Malaysia.

Dr. Dahlia Binti Shahbuddin was awarded a research grant of RM165,000.00, while Associate Professor Dr. Asyraf Bin Mansor secured RM177,500.00. These grants represent a significant achievement in supporting research initiatives and strengthening the research capacity of the School.

The success of both academics reflects their commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and contributing to research excellence at USM. The funding is expected to support their respective research endeavours and foster the development of innovative research with potential benefits to the scientific community and society.
