We specialize in biomaterials produced from renewable resources. The biomaterials have applications as eco-friendly plastics, specialized probes and advanced biocompatible materials for medical and tissue engineering applications.
Services offered include:
• Identification and characterization of microbial polyhydroxyalkanoates
• Design and synthesis of absorbable biomaterials with specific physical properties
• Conduct biodegradability studies in the environment
• Design of controlled release system for fertilizers/pesticides
• Design and produce user-friendly probes for the routine on-site monitoring of microbial activities in biological wastewater treatment systems
