Plant Pathology and Mycology

 

Research Profile

My expertise is in the area of fungal plant diseases. My research focuses on practical aspects of plant disease diagnosis and etiology, pathogen identification and characterization, pathogenicity, mating and phylogenetic studies, mycotoxin analysis and disease control management.

Current Research

 

My current research is focus on fungal plant diseases and the research component includes plant disease diagnosis and etiology, pathogen identification and characterization, pathogenicity, mating and phylogenetic studies, mycotoxin analysis and disease control management. My current research are:

 

  • Fungal diseases of red-fleshed dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus)
  • Fungal diseases of mother-in-law’s tongue (Sansevieria trifasciata)
  • Fungal diseases of white spider lilies (Crinum asiaticum and Hymenocallis littorallis)
